Hello! My name is Emily Lysakova, I'm a student at the Urban Assembly New York Harbor School and a student in the Marine Biology Research Program, where I do individual research and on track to receive my CTE certification. I have a strong passion for biology and I plan to pursue a degree in human biology with a minor in either psychology or a foreign language. According to my Holland Code, I am IRC (Investigative, Realistic, Conventional), and my Meyer's-Briggs test is INFJ (Introverted, Intuitive, Feeling, Judging). I shine well when working with others, creating scientific questions, and learning various subjects,  and I also have hard skills such as being bilingual (Slovak and English), instrument calibration, and proficiency in Office 365's Excel, Word, and Powerpoint. Something that I struggle with is public speaking, a weakness I actively want to overcome and strive to be excellent at.
